Tzatziki Sauce

Home-made Tzatziki sauce is a healthy versatile dip that can be consumed with many dishes.  My favorite is this healthy pita wrap that can be made either vegan or with chicken.  It is made with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

350 g Greek Yogurt

1 Cucumber

2 Garlic cloves

A pinch of salt

Dill or mint (optional)

Lemon juice (optional)

Olive Oil (optional)

Preparation Method

  1. Remove the seeds from the cucumber.
  2. Grate the cucumber.
  3. Add salt to it to eliminate as much water as possible.
  4. Squeeze the water of the grated cucumber.
  5. Mix all ingredients together.
  6. Store in the fridge until you are ready to consume.
